Ep 131 – Your Imposter Syndrome Is Serving No-One

SOLO EPISODE | Your Imposter Syndrome Is Serving No-one

Self-doubt is exhausting, and it gets in the way of real progress.

The curated content found every day on social media certainly doesn’t help. We’re bombarded with opportunities to compare and contrast our lives with the lives of others. We’re so busy observing what everyone else is doing that we start feeling completely inadequate.

In the Harvard Business Review article ‘Overcoming imposter syndrome’, author Gill Corkindale shares that, ‘Imposters suffer from chronic self- doubt and a sense of intellectual fraudulence that override any feelings of success or external proof of their competence. They seem unable to internalise their accomplishments, however successful they are in their field’.

You know exactly what I’m talking about!

Let’s quit the negative self-talk.

Stop focusing on what others are doing and achieving.

And remember – this is your race to run.
