Not Another ‘New Year, New Me’ Email…

It’s that time of year – goal-setting, intention-writing, and endless promises of “this will be my best year yet.” Sound familiar?

But here’s the thing: what if we stopped chasing shiny resolutions and started creating a year that actually feels good?

When I reflected on 2024, I realized something profound. My word for the year was Expansion, and wow, did I live it. I stretched myself in ways I never imagined – some exhilarating, some downright uncomfortable. Growth doesn’t come without friction, and believe me, there were moments where I had to face truths I wasn’t quite ready for.

This year, I’m doing things differently. Bigger. Bolder. And with intention.

For 2025, I’m not playing by anyone else’s rules. My phrase is Effortlessly Soar – because it’s time to stop pushing against the current and start flying with it.

Simplicity scales.

I’m done with overcomplication. Growth this year will be about impact – not effort. My focus? Helping smart, driven women build businesses that work for them, not against them. Think: clients you love, work that excites you, and success that’s unapologetically yours. I’ve seen the ripple effect when women lead this way: it transforms their families, communities, and industries.

Prioritising me.
Last year, my needs often took a backseat. Not this year. Effortlessly Soar means putting my health, learning, and self-care first. Meditation, fitness, and a little space to dream bigger? Yes, please.

Honouring my worth.
I’m leaning even harder into dollars up, days down. Because we don’t build businesses to burn out – we build them to give us freedom.

Being present in life’s transitions.
This one’s close to my heart. My kids – 21, 19, and 16 – are still at home, but I know these years are fleeting. They’re finding their independence, and soon, they’ll be off chasing their dreams. So, I’m making this time count: creating moments we’ll all remember, showing up for their big and small milestones, and soaking up every bit of this transition phase.

Foundations for impact.
There’s a big, audacious dream I’m working on. I can’t spill the details yet, but know this: it’s about creating real change in spaces that matter deeply to me.

Effortlessly Soar is more than a phrase – it’s my guide for everything I want to create and experience this year.

Now it’s your turn: What’s your word (or phrase) for 2025? What do you want to live, build, and feel this year?

Reply and share it with me – I’d love to hear.
