Imagine being an accomplished lawyer working for the largest international law firm in the world, to deciding one day to trade in your heels for running shoes and setting off to change the world through highly collaborative social impact campaigns.
That’s exactly what my guest today did – and she certainly didn’t make the change in half measures!
Samantha is described as a trailblazer in the endurance world. She was the first woman and the youngest person at the time, to complete the Four Deserts Grand Slam – one of the world’s toughest endurance competitions that spans 1000kms across the hottest, coldest, driest and windiest deserts on earth.
With over 25,000kms under her feet and years of pushing her mental and physical boundaries – she now uses running as a vehicle for social change through advocacy; peer to peer fundraising and integrated digital campaigns.
There is so much magic in this conversation – from Samantha’s personal insight and learnings through to the questions she poses for all of us to think about as we navigate our own version of an endurance challenge.
In this podcast Samantha challenges us to stop selling ourselves short and instead continuously be thinking about the nest best plan.
