5 Conversations We All Need To Have

The other day, I was sitting with one of my team members reflecting on the Unleashing Brilliance podcast. It hit us – it’s been over a year since we relaunched, and in that time, we’ve shared more than 52 powerful episodes.

That’s 52 conversations to help shift your thinking, challenge your beliefs, and elevate the way you do business and life.

But not all of them were emailed out. And we all know social algorithms aren’t exactly giving us full visibility.

So I’m changing that.

Below are five of the most powerful conversations from the past 12 months. Ones that caused inbox floods, sparked DMs, and prompted massive shifts.

Because no matter where you are right now – building, stuck, overwhelmed or scaling –  these are conversations we need to be having.

Let’s dive in.

🎙 EPISODE 170 – 3 Things You Must Do To Convert Ideal Clients

Sales is no longer a linear process – and charm isn’t enough anymore. In this episode, I talk about why your proposals aren’t converting (even when they should) and exactly what to do about it.

We dig into:

  • The power of positioning before pitching
  • Why saying less gets you more (especially in sales)
  • How to hold space with certainty, not desperation

I also share the mistakes I see over and over again from brilliant women who are too busy proving they’re worthy instead of owning that they already are.

If you’re sick of being ghosted or bending over backwards for clients who say “let me think about it,” this one’s for you.

🎙 EPISODE 160 – I Am Not a White Man

Let’s be real – the traditional business blueprint wasn’t built for women like us.

This episode is about giving yourself permission to burn the damn rulebook and build a business that actually works for you. It’s raw, it’s real, and it’s likely to ruffle a few feathers – exactly why you need to hear it.

I talk about the weight of expectation, the unconscious ways we’ve been taught to shrink, and what it actually looks like to run a business in a way that honours your energy, your values, your magic.

Because I’m done trying to squeeze myself into boxes I didn’t build. And I bet you are too.

💥 Warning: once you hear this one, you might just start doing things very differently.

🎙 EPISODE 156 – 4 Reasons Saying NO Really Matters

I used to be the queen of yes. I thought saying “yes” meant opportunity, connection, and growth. But what it actually meant was burnout, resentment, and a slow erosion of self.

This episode is a personal one. I share what led me to the edge – and what pulled me back. It’s about redefining power, not as doing more, but as knowing what’s worth doing at all.

You’ll learn:

  • How to spot where you’re people-pleasing in your business
  • Why “NO” is the most profitable word you can use
  • The mindset shifts that help you protect your time like your success depends on it (because it does)

Saying NO isn’t about rejection. It’s about reclaiming your energy – and choosing you.

🎙 EPISODE 157 – Why You Need To Double Your Prices

Oof. This one hit a nerve – and it’s one of my most shared episodes for a reason.

Right now, the pressure to discount is real. Clients are pushing back. The market feels tight. And I get it – you think, “Maybe I need to lower my prices to compete.”

No. You don’t.

In this episode, I break down:

  • Why pricing from fear always backfires
  • What doubling your prices does for your positioning
  • How undercharging silently sabotages your future business growth

I also share a behind-the-scenes story of what happened when I raised my own rates –  and the unexpected ripple effect it created.

If you’ve ever thought “I can’t charge that much” – you must hear this.

🎙 EPISODE 150 – Why The Network of YOU Is Critical to Success

When COVID hit, I lost 80% of my business overnight. That moment could’ve broken me.

Instead, I picked up the phone.

I reached out to my people – not to sell, but to ask for help, share my vision, and reignite connection. Within two weeks, my book Be Brilliant hit #2 in Australia and #6 globally.

This episode is a blueprint on how to activate the network you already have and build the one you need for the future.

You’ll discover:

  • The four types of people you need in your network right now
  • How to move from transactional to transformational relationships
  • Why building your network is not a “nice to have” — it’s critical to long-term success

Because you don’t have to do this alone. You were never meant to.
